Story Behind The Book

Healing Out Loud is an unlikely continuation of a relationship that began in Dr. Michelle Caulk’s counseling office. After our year-long counseling relationship ended, an unexpected friendship began. So did a desire to share hope and encouragement with other women.

We understand the struggle, from both sides of the couch. But we are also experiencing healing. We have collected our shared experiences, a healing map, scripture and a healthy does of vulnerability and compassion into one place: Healing Out Loud.

Our hope is that you will quickly understand that Healing Out Loud is more about your healing journey than ours. You will be challenged to reflect, pray and respond as you begin your Healing Out Loud journey.
